Reading: Our next reading story is Centerfield Ballhawk. Our focus skills for this story are sequencing and summarizing. We’ll also review prefixes and suffixes.
Spelling: Please continue to practice the words in your child’s planner.
Math: Please continue to practice addition and subtraction facts with your child on a daily basis.
Calendar Math: Our focus skills for December’s calendar math include patterning, addition with regrouping, place value, telling time, and beginning multiplication concepts. These skills will help your child on the CRT (state tests) coming up in March
